This is my dog Sniffers. He was was
rescued from a local animal shelter. He had been adopted out 3 times, and kept
coming back for different problems. The shelter was preparing to put him to
sleep, but it was my birthday and I'd just lost a dog to cancer, so I asked them
to let me have him. I was told that he'd been abused by one of his previous
owners, who used to kick the dog in the head. Sniffers jaw was broken and never
cared for, so it healed crooked. His tongue always hangs out the side of his
mouth because he's missing most of his teeth. Sniffers is probably the dumbest
dog on the planet, with only 3 functioning brain cells left, but he's a great
companion, very loyal and loving. He loves his new QTH . |

Petunia was my 32 year old Amazon parrot. She came to me when a good friend, Ted Shallcross KD4BWS passed away from cancer several years ago. Peturnia joined Ted on July 17, 2008 at 10:15pm after a bout with pneumonia. She was a loved member of our family who will be missed! |

Hilary's Birthday Trip, January 2007 |

It was Hilary's birthday, and I'd promised him a trip to the Nickelodeon themed hotel in Orlando. Temps were in the high 40's but he went swimming, and played on their huge 3 story water slides. He was the only swimmer, so he had 4 lifeguards to himself. The lifeguards got a big kick out of Hilary enjoying the water park all by himself. |
